Gu Qili was still dreaming when the doorbell suddenly rang, jolting her awake. A strong arm was wrapped around her waist,
"Mu Shuoqian, stop messing around, it must be Zhu Ping looking for me to have breakfast." Gu Qili pushed his arm away irritably, but it was like pushing against a rock; immovable.
"Let her eat by herself," the lazy man coldly huffed dissatisfied.
"We have physical training today," Gu Qili said as she tried pushing him away again, "Even if I don't eat with her, I need to at least let her know."
"No need." He arrogantly held onto her without letting go,

Outside, the knocking persisted, and Gu Qili's phone on the pillow beside her started ringing as well.
She knew it had to be Zhu Ping calling her because she couldn't find her; the ringtone repeated over and over, indicating Zhu Ping was really anxious.
Gu Qili pushed the man's chest again, pleadingly saying, "Let me answer the phone."
