A smirk curved up Lorenzo's face.
"So you think I'm hot?"
His face inched closer, and Ashley fought not to shut her eyes.
"You're deflecting."
Lorenzo chuckled, and his lips grazed hers. Just when she thought he was going to kiss her, he pulled away. She cussed inwardly.
"We have to go check your home, remember?" He let her go, and she immediately missed the warmth.
"Not before I get my answer."
She walked over to sit on his bed, crossing one leg over the other.
Lorenzo chuckled again and sat beside her. He hesitated before speaking.
"The thing is..." he murmured, brushing a hand through his hair before looking at her. "I just want you here with me, Ashley. I want to wake up every day and see your face first. I want to belong to you... only you," he whispered, eyes locked on hers. "Like I've said before... I can't not want it."
