LIAM
The thunder cracks just above our heads, followed by lightning, rattling the barely in-order gazebo. But I think it is nothing to how hard and fast my heart is beating inside my chest, crashing against each other.
Heat ignites where Kian's finger is touching my chin. The way his eyes are roving over my face, I feel like I have been set on fire.
"Are you asking?" The words are breathy and distant yet so close and familiar.
"Not really." Kian smirks and leans in.
The air in my lungs whoosh away in an instant as he leans in, so painfully slowly that I feel like it is an eternity before his lips touch mine when, in reality, it is just a few seconds.
Instantly I ignite. Heat gathers in the pit of my gut and spreads through my stomach. My heart is beating in rhythm with the pouring rain outside, and pleasure rises at the end of my every nerve.
