Lily felt the breast plate begin to disappear followed by a searing pain above her left breast where a tattoo of the armor sat ready to be summoned. "You could have warned me about that." Her mother laughed softly as Lily looked at the new addition to her skin. "God's only give things to the one's they love or for a price. Don't let go of any god made weapons or armor. They were meant for you so they must stay with you. That is how you protect bad beings from using what is rightfully yours. Remember that, my dear. Remember."
Lily's conscious was being pulled back to her body as someone shook her awake. "Princess. Come. Please. There is trouble." It was a different servant from the one she had before. A man she hadn't seen before and didn't trust his words, but the noise outside might indicate otherwise. "What's happening?"
