Chapter 14 - The Eidran Awakening Ceremony (Part II)

"T-This… This is another one?! A genius? Another Innate Full Eidra Energy!"

He stared at Clark like he was watching a new era unfold.

From outside, far on a mountain peak, Jordan SanJose stood quietly, arms crossed, staring down at the Awakening Hall.

"That energy… So he awakened it already. Just like I thought. The bloodline runs deep."

Back inside the hall, the silence returned.

Clark calmly returned to the line, hands behind his back. Elizabeth, who had watched the scene with narrowed blue eyes, blinked and finally took a step forward.

Lucien followed suit.

Pablo looked up from the crystal.

"You two, step forward."

Elizabeth and Lucien walked up side by side.

"Well? Aren't you going to awaken your Avatars?"

Elizabeth bowed respectfully, her voice cold but polite.

"Master Pablo, I'm afraid that won't be necessary. I've already awakened my Avatar."

Lucien gave a princely nod. "Same here."

Pablo furrowed his brow. "Already? But how?"

Neither of them elaborated.

Clark, back in line, glanced at them. His eyes met Elizabeth's for a brief second. She didn't blink. Her piercing blue eyes were unreadable, but something passed between them. A silent acknowledgment.

Pablo shook his head.

"Hmph. Talented little monsters, all of you."

He turned to the crowd.

"That concludes today's Eidran Awakening Ceremony. Those who awakened their Avatars but did not possess Eidra Energy… do not lose hope. You can still lead strong lives. But for those with Eidra Energy…"

He looked specifically at Zorro, Clark, and the other two.

"Your journey is only just beginning."

Outside the Hall — Moments Later

Old Jack led the kids out, beaming.

"You did well, Clark! Hahaha! That Pablo nearly jumped outta his skin!"

Clark gave a faint smile but said nothing.

As they passed the statue again, Clark slowed down.

He stared at the carved figure of the ancient hero. The aura still lingered—oppressive, powerful. But now, it didn't feel so overwhelming.

"Someday... I'll reach that level too," he thought.

. . . . . . . .

The sun dipped below the horizon, casting long shadows over Malinta Village. Clark returned home, his mind still reeling from the events of the Eidran Awakening Ceremony. The revelation of his twin Avatars had left him with more questions than answers. He needed guidance, and there was only one person he could turn to—his father, Jordan.

As Clark stepped into their modest home, he found Jordan seated at the table, a bottle of wine in hand. The room was dimly lit, the flickering candlelight casting dancing shadows on the walls.

"Father," Clark began hesitantly.

Jordan looked up, his eyes meeting Clark's. "You're back."

Jordan's expression remained unreadable. "Show me."

Clark extended his right hand, and with a surge of energy, his first Avatar materialized—a dark, ethereal sword, its blade absorbing the surrounding light.

Jordan's eyes narrowed as he observed the weapon. He stood slowly, the air around him shifting as he released his own aura. The two energies collided, creating a brief but intense pressure in the room. Then, as quickly as it had come, the tension dissipated.

Clark looked up at his father, confused. "What was that?"

Jordan didn't answer immediately. Instead, he turned away, his shoulders trembling. Clark realized with a start that his father was crying.

"It's the same as hers..." Jordan whispered, his voice thick with emotion.

Clark took a step forward. "Father?"

Jordan abruptly turned back, his face contorted with anger. "Don't bother me!" he snapped, grabbing the bottle and retreating to his room.

Clark stood there, stunned. He had never seen his father like this. But he wasn't done yet.

"Father, wait!" he called, summoning his second Avatar. A golden dragon appeared, its wings unfurling majestically, a single horn protruding from its head. The creature radiated a terrifying aura, filling the room with its presence.

Jordan's door flew open, and he stepped out, his eyes wide with shock. "Twin Avatars... My son!" he exclaimed, rushing forward to embrace Clark. Tears streamed down his face as he held his son tightly.

He fell to his knees, arms outstretched, tears flowing uncontrollably as he pulled Clark into his chest. He held the boy tightly, like a father who feared the world would rip him away again.

"You… you inherited both of them. Hers… and mine..." His voice was ragged. "Do you even understand what this means?"

Clark, still overwhelmed, looked up with teary eyes.

"I just wanted you to see me… to be proud of me…"

Jordan laughed through his tears, pressing his forehead to his son's. "You carry her blade and my dragon. You are our legacy. Stronger than both of us…"

For a while, they said nothing. Only the wind spoke, whistling through the open door.

The Golden Dragon aura began to drain Clark's Eidra Energy at a fast rate and he noticed it "Father, I can't hold my Avatar anymore!" while hugging his father.

Jordan releases Clark and says "Okay, return your Avatar to your body" he sounds serious and continues "Remember, don't show it, tell other people that you have Twin Avatar or you have that Golden Dragon because some people don't like genius people. You can use your sword as your main but unless it is a life or death situation don't use the Golden Dragon" looking at his son.

"Okay, I'll always remember your word father! I promised" Clark looking at his father

"Remember don't add Eidran Rings to your Golden Dragon" Jordan added.

Clark nods immediately without hesitation because his father's warning is certainly for him and won't harm him anyway.
