Kendrick had to brace himself not to lose his balance. With much hesitation and confusion, he slowly wrapped his right hand around her waist.
"Zara—" Kendrick called in a whisper, but Zara remained in his arms, her grip tightening.

Kendrick looked around again, all eyes were on them, on one side was Ace and Gina and on the other were the other were the spokesman and his associates, along with the media team that would be documenting today's meeting.
"Zara, don't panic…but everyone is watching us." he whispered into her ear.
Zara finally came to her senses. Her hand slowly moved away from Kendrick, clenching by her side.
"Even the spokesman?" she asked in a whisper.
Kendrick nodded, "Even the spokesman."
"But don't panic. Just move away slightly, and smile. I will say something to avert the awkwardness." he suggested.
