INT. LUCIFER'S CHAMBER — NIGHT
The chamber doors burst open with a loud thud. Lucifer looked up slowly from his seat, the candlelight flickering in his crimson eyes.
"Evelyn?" he muttered, brows drawing together. "Who let you in? Where are your maids?"
"I came alone," she said, voice trembling but steady. "I don't need anyone to guard me."
Lucifer's gaze sharpened. "Did you drink something? Take a potion? What is wrong with you?"
She ignored the question, walking toward him, eyes burning.
"Why did you make me Queen?" she asked, the words clipped and low. "Why did you save me when Queen Selena wanted to kill me? Was it just so you could punish me like this?"
Lucifer leaned back in his chair, arms crossed. "Evelyn, this is neither the place nor the time—"
"No," she snapped. "Answer me. Why do I feel something for you? Why did you kiss me? Why did you touch me when I slept beside you? And then pretend like none of it happened?"
