When shade was met by her father the next day , he was in the halls , had called for her shamelessly and he looked different more than ever.
she thought she could hate him for what he did to her mother.
No.
He didn't just do something he killed her mother, right?
Shade thought to herself , hesitated as she steps her small foot towards the person , no one else but her own father , that seemed like a stranger just yesterday.
But as she stepped closer and closer and took a good look at his face..
Shade flinches.
John looked pale, black shadows under his unfocused eyes but when he noticed his daughter.
the resempleness of her mother with her golden strands and blue shiny, swollen, eyes, from all the crying.
his face lightened up a bit and waved at Shade.
When Shade noticed the slight change , the kid took a deep breath and walked towards John.
He hugged her and sat her down on a chair, talked to her .
At these moments the kid thought to herself that; this man in front her could never be a killer but there must be another reason as to why would her mother get to the state of death.
And so...the light shone at the child that came along before the incident.
