Hearing this, all of their faces turned serious.
"That's right," Rose continued.
"She was sexually assaulted. The old lady was the one who spotted her in the early morning and then called the police. She said that just by seeing the appearance of the girl, it was really heartbreaking."
"When the criminal was done, he just left the body of that poor little girl where the crime happened," Rose continued, her voice tinged with sadness.
"It was in an alley, a very secluded path, not too far from here. The old lady said that the girl was still alive when she was found and was taken to the hospital, but she was in a great deal of trauma."
"There's such a thing? Is the suspect caught?" Jessica, who had been quiet and easygoing, turned angry, her voice filled with wrath as she hated such acts.
Jeff also felt upset by this, his expression darkening.
