Aria's first waking moments after exiting the game were full of pain. Not the excruciating pain of something being broken. No, it was the pain of something being restrained too tightly.
"AHHHH!"
She roared as she sat up and yanked off the helmet, jumping to her feet. Yet the pain continued still. Her back felt like it was burning and without thinking she tore off her shirt. As soon as she did, the sound of ripping fabric were drowned by her cries.
"Sonata.. I mean Aria, are you okay?!"
Horo having returned to his Adam identity burst into the room, just as the binder that Aria's father had always forced her to wear snapped and two snow white wings burst out into the open air.
"Haaah. So much better~"
She sighed in relief….until she noticed Adam staring at her with both a dumbfounded look while also looking slightly embarrassed.
