Genevieve woke up in a dimly lit chamber. She looked around and remembered that the Demon King had used his evil powers on her and her maids. She immediately sat up and touched her stomach. Her baby was safe and okay.
The chamber was strange and she had a weird feeling about the atmosphere. She wondered if the Demon King had kidnapped her. She got off the bed gently and tried to summon her powers but unfortunately, it did not show.
She thought about the motive the Demon King had for her and wished she could talk to Edric. She walked to the door and realized it was unlocked. She walked out of the chamber and stepped into the huge hallway. The Guards stood by her entrance but did not make an attempt to stop her.
She left the hallway and walked into the throne room. She was amazed by the unique designs and felt a sense of belonging as she made her way in. The seats were beautifully carved and the throne demonstrated a display of power and greatness.
"You are awake?"
