Glancing at the pavilion that stood within, at the center of the large courtyard, Aeryn nulged Andrew to look at the separate halls stationed around it, this is Crescere.
Unlike the housing estate where they had stayed, this place was more lively and bustling with activities. Even more quick to notice was that almost everyone here were teens, while the remaining few were below it. All wearing a plain simple white robe with a hood draped over their back.
Some looked enthusiastic, some serious and others troubled. There were very few people chatting unlike one would expect of a gathering of youths. But then it all made sense because this was the Crescere, everyone here was competing for resources. Apart from the ones who had a talent enough to guarantee a pass into Avalon, the rest who strived for strength but with lacking talent wanted to grow as much as possible before they would be sent out after the age of 15. The Dragondale House sheltered no weakling.
