In the end, thanks to Bai Buer fanning the flames from the side, the elder, wearing a dark expression, ended up buying each of the boys he brought along a set of hides from some other beast.

The store clerk dared to call it "animal fur." What, animals aren't demonic beasts?

These little brats had better not wear that nonsense in front of him, or he'd strip it off them on the spot.

The elder sighed, feeling utterly drained. The Tiger King should've assigned him an assistant for this mission.

He had thought he could keep these young punks in line. Who would've thought they'd start running wild the moment they left home? His elderly dignity had been completely trampled.

Infuriating! Maddening!

Especially that Bai Buer—he was the ringleader of this unruly gang. Every rotten idea came from him.

And yet Bai Buer was the Tiger King's son. What could the elder do? He could only spoil him.

But still—Bai Buer had brought Bai Baobao along. Wasn't Bai Baobao the one who never wanted to leave the Demon Queen's side?

The elder snorted from his nose. "What are you two doing here? Where are the Demon King and Queen?"

Bai Buer swung his head lazily. "They're up at the revolving restaurant on the top floor. We just finished eating and came down."

The Wanghu triplets swallowed hard.

The flyer had devoted its biggest section to promoting the revolving restaurant. Word was that it had over a hundred dishes you could eat to your heart's content, all for just two Black Dragon Coins.

They didn't have many Black Dragon Coins to their names, but a buffet for just two coins? No matter how they looked at it, that was a steal.

Sure enough, the elder's interest was piqued by the buffet.

With a straight face and no shame at all, he said, "I just so happen to want to thank Her Majesty. Why don't we go up and greet her?"

Bai Buer thought to himself, Wow, the elder sure knows how to pick his moments. Go up now and risk getting kicked out...

But surprisingly, they weren't stopped.

Lou Zhao and Yin Jixue had already left the restaurant.

In their place stood someone Bai Buer and Bai Baobao both recognized—Feng Xiu.

"Her Majesty said once the two princes finish playing, I should escort you back. Today is the grand opening of Black Dragon Tower—anything that catches your eye, you can take. The bill goes to Her Majesty."

The Wanghu triplets were so envious they nearly cried.

If only they were princes of the Winged Tiger Clan too!

The "two princes" Feng Xiu referred to were naturally Bai Buer and Bai Baobao. Bai Buer raised a paw.

"Then can I invite the elders to join us at the buffet?"

Feng Xiu responded with a perfectly polite smile. "Of course."

And so the Wanghu triplets ended up enjoying a free buffet meal too.

The elder, whose heart had been tied up in knots, finally relaxed a little.

Sure, Bai Buer liked stirring up trouble for him, but at least the boy knew how to be grateful.

Forget it. He wouldn't report him this time.

When they stepped into the revolving restaurant, they were stunned by its opulence.

Many of the foods on display were things they'd never even seen before.

This was especially true for the Wanghu brothers. As traveling merchants, they had visited countless cities.

Among the demon clans, aside from the four major tribes, there were also many smaller ones. Some of those near human territories were more humanized in their development—some were even wealthier than the Xuanwu Clan.

Even so, they had never seen a single city that could rival this in culinary splendor.

Just the visual feast was overwhelming. Where were they supposed to begin?

The boys were already drooling like mad.

They tossed their new clothes casually onto the seats and bolted for the food stations, hands outstretched to grab whatever they could.

The next second, something like a soft baton smacked one of their hands.

"Do not handle food with your hands. Please use the provided tongs."

The smacked boy rubbed his now-red hand, looking utterly pitiful.

The others quickly fell in line, obediently picking up tongs and the trays beside them.

"Please take smaller portions and return for more. Wasting food will result in expulsion from Black Dragon City."

In a demon society, no one dared waste food. If you wasted food at home, your parents would beat you within an inch of your life. If you waste it in public? You might as well be asking to die.

Grain was sacred to demons. Every one of these boys understood its value.

The boy who'd been smacked quickly explained, "We won't waste anything. Sorry…"

He had no idea that this was just an automated voice prompt. He thought a demon spirit lived inside that thing.

Although the restaurant had no visible staff or owner, every movement of its guests was monitored by a demon stationed at the back.

The surveillance setup was the same real-time transmission device Lou Zhao and Yin Jixue had used once before.

Now that they had batteries, Yin Jixue just bought a surveillance camera from the system shop and handed it off to the workers at the mechanical factory. They dismantled the real-time transmission device from the aircraft and created a knockoff version.

Even the system probably hadn't expected her to be this stingy. After all, this device could be purchased with points too.

Any item received as a quest reward would appear in the shop, but if it came from a multiple-choice reward, the price would be extremely high.

Still, for Yin Jixue, real-time transmission equipment didn't cost many points. And anyway, building a bootleg version using the cheapest monitor was even more economical.

Back to the main story: not long after Lou Zhao and Yin Jixue left, the speakers in Black Dragon Tower came to life.

"The revolving buffet restaurant on the top floor of Black Dragon Tower is now officially open. Customers, please do not push. Form an orderly line to enter the elevators."

These elevators weren't powered by electricity but by ancient mechanical ingenuity. They had transformed wooden lifts into transparent glass-viewing elevators.

Merchants who'd been haggling loudly with vendors or aimlessly wandering about the shops immediately surged toward the elevators.

Those who couldn't make it in time dashed for the escalators—there was no way they were going to let that glass box beat them to the top!

In addition to standard stairs and glass elevators, Black Dragon Tower also featured moving walkways.

The moving walkways were like the flat escalators found in supermarkets—perfect for pushing carts across.

Out-of-breath merchants who had taken the stairs made it to the sixth floor, only to be told they'd be the third group to enter—the restaurant was admitting patrons in timed intervals.

Turns out the buffet had a time limit. You could only dine for one hour.

But one hour was more than enough. They could fight hard, eat fast, and leave satisfied.

The moment they stepped inside, they were awestruck by the revolving restaurant.

Not only did the floor near the windows rotate but so did the food counters.

There wasn't a single wall on the sixth floor—just glass, offering a panoramic view of Black Dragon City.

The glass here was much sturdier than normal window panes, and many of the merchants were itching to get their hands on it.

If only they could haul some of this glass home and build a glass house—wouldn't that be gorgeous?

These thoughts especially plagued the merchants from the Qingluan Clan. They loved living in areas rich with plants and trees—treehouses in particular.

But safety was always a concern. One had to be alert at all times. A surprise attack by a ferocious demonic beast could be fatal.

But with this kind of thick glass, they could build a house in the forest and even use the glass as an early warning system.

Of course, these dreams didn't stop them from loading up their trays like maniacs.

Every incense stick's worth of time, they brought out either a roast suckling boar or a whole roast lamb.

Both the piglets and the lambs were uniquely bred demonic beasts found only in Black Dragon City.

They were raised fat and plump, kept around long enough to produce offspring, and then served up for the feast.

The roasted lamb crackled and sizzled with fat as it hit their mouths, bringing tears to the eyes of the traveling merchants.

The Black Dragon Clan truly lived up to its warrior reputation. Even demonic beasts could be raised and eaten. As for the rest of them—they wouldn't dare.
