Normally, he wasn't supposed to let a student into the pit to fight unless they had committed a serious crime. But he had always wanted her dead. If she could die in the pit, it would be a dream come true for him. But the boss had clearly ordered that she must not die. He bit his lips at the golden opportunity.
"I'm afraid I can't let you go into the pit, Olivia. Only elite students from the second ranking are allowed access to the pit."
Olivia panicked at the rejection. "No one will know. It will be just between you and me," she hastily said. "I can wear a mask so nobody will be able to tell that it's me."
Her heart thundered in her ears. If she was rejected again, she had no idea what to do next. She could only pray that he would accept her.
