While the Tall Woman was busy with Cashew, the Stone Golem was just about finished repairing itself. Sucking in New Stone as well as Stone that was still reusable from his severed arm.
Now that it managed to repair itself body and was ready to fight again, it charged towards the Tall Woman, grabbing the Young Blonde Guard by his leg and using his body like a club to hit the woman.
Noticing this, She instinctually swung her Mace back to block the "Club", only to realize too late that the "Club" was actually one of her guards and she just assisted in breaking his back.
The Guards eyes Glazed over as blood shot out of his mouth.
The impact from the Mace sent the guards body flying back in the direction he came from, but the Stone Golems grip on his leg didn't falter. Instead of the Golems arm being deflected too, the guards body was deflected back the way it came and the Golems sturdy arm caused the bone in the leg it was holding to shatter and bend in ways it shouldn't.
The Tall Woman flinched at the sight, clearly not expecting one of her guards to be used as a weapon, she apologized to the guard, but he didn't hear it as he's unconscious now.
Tall woman: You dare to use one of my guards as a weapon?! Since you're just a Golem, I was gonna spare you as you have no master now, but looks like you get to die too.
She proceeded to leap into the air, trying to get out of the effective range of the Runes and attempted another spinning smash like what she did to Cashew. She spun her body in the air, gaining momentum and as she got closer to the ground and the Golem, she used all that momentum to smash her Mace into the Golems... Hand?
The Stone Golem caught her Mace again, Stone chips sent flying off of its hand, but it quickly let go of the unconscious guard it's other hand was holding and used it to grab the Tall Woman by the neck, holding her in the air
The Stone Golem glanced at the 3 Frost Runes that never dissipated while holding her, she noticed and immediately realized what it was thinking, struggling against its grip trying to get free, but the Golem didn't budge and carried her closer to the Runes, causing her to struggle more and even start to kick the Golem, but nothing worked. It reached the Rune and lowered her body on top of it, she let out on final scream as the Rune detonated and her body was covered in a layer of Ice and Frost.
She's technically still alive, but because of how Ice Magic works, she's now in a state where even a gust of wind could kill her.
Before the fight between Cashew and the Woman started, the other Guards were just about done collecting the bodies, but now, they were completely done and were watching the Stone Golem put their boss in a state of infinite fragility.
The Golem carried her towards the Donkey Cart and haphazardly put her on it, not caring about whether or not she shatters. All of the other guards knew she could be saved and flinched at how roughly the Golem put her down. It seemed like she didn't shatter or crack from being handled roughly.
After putting her down, the Golem pointed down the road, as if telling the remaining guards to leave.
The remaining guards lost the will to fight back after seing their boss lose, but one of the guards gestured towards the blonde guard, who was laying on the ground, unconscious with a broken back and leg.
The Stone Golem sighed and walked towards the unconscious Blonde Guard, picking him up by his broken leg, which made him jolt awake screaming in pain, and the Golem threw the now screaming guard at the others and immediately pointed to the road again, as if telling them to leave now.
The guards immediately grabbed the screaming guard, not caring about making his injuries worst and quickly led the Donkey and Donkey Cart down the road, fleeing the scene.
Following the Fleeing Guards, they stopped fleeing and slowed down, still carrying the Blonde Guard, but he lost consciousness from the pain and they stopped to put him on the cart.
Guard #1: Wow... Golems are scary, look at what happened to the boss!
Guard #2: Do you think we will have to go back?
Guard #3: I doubt it. The kid is dead, the citizens only know about the kid. We can probably leave it alone. Plus, I doubt the thing has much Mana left. it will die on its own once it consumes all its Mana.
Guard #2: but aren't the citizens gonna want proof that the kid is dead?
Guard #1: Maybe, but if they do, we just need to wait until the Golem runs out of Mana and collect the kids body then. I doubt the Kid could put much Mana into it anyways. Should take no more than a week to run out.
Guard #2: I hope so... How did the kid even get a Golem anyways?
Guard #4: Remember the Bandits that lived there first? Maybe the kid is associated with their boss? We know they have a big boss that's away.
Guard #1: Wasn't their Big Boss supposed to be a Necromancer though?
Guard #4: A few years ago, I met an Elf who claims to have been around before Necromancy was banned. He said that Fundamentally, Necromancy and Golem Construction aren't too different. Or that they follow the same principles. If you can do Necromancy, you can make a Golem and Vice Versa.
Guard #3: Why were you talking about Necromancy with an Elf, though?
Guard #4: It wasn't me who brought up the subject to the Elf, it was Jerry, were you a Guard when Jerry was around?
Guard #3: a few years ago? I was a Guard a few years ago. Not a Guard of Clorilwood, though.
Guard #1: I don't mean to interrupt, but we should probably get going.
Guard #4: Yeah, you're right. But even if the kid got the Golem from the Necromancer, that doesn't change the fact that we gotta wait for it to run out and die on its own.
...
Back to Cashews Cabin.
The Stone Golem approached Cashews body, looking at it with confusion as to why he won't stand up. It crouches down and pokes the body a few times with its massive fingers, seeing if he will wake up.
...
Nothing.
It seems to notice that Cashews head is splattered all over the place and thinks that's the problem, tilting its head, the Golem uses its Massive hands to scoop up all of Cashews brain and skull and puts it near his neck stump. Waiting to see if something happens.
After a few minutes, Cashews Neck Stump starts pulling all of the skull fragments and brain matter towards it, slowly using it to rebuild his head. The Golem notices and sits on the ground, cross legged, waiting to see what happens.
Over the span of 3 minutes, Cashews head slowly rebuilds itself, his Skull regaibs its form, hisbrain rebuilds itself and regenerates parts that the Stone Golem missed, Cashews head was soon back the way it was, except he was completely bald now.
Cashew spent another 2 minutes before attempting to get up, the Stone Golem, who sat watching, tilted its head as Cashew started to move again.
Cashew Slowly pushed himself off the ground, His head Aching.
Cashew: Heh.... That hurt... How am I still alive, though... It's as if someone doesn't want me to die... Plot armor...
Cashew raised a hand to clutch his head, but ended up falling headfirdt into the ground, clutching his head even harder in pain, curling into a ball on his side. The Golem tilted its head to the other side as it watched with curiosity.
Cashew: This isn't just a Migraine or Headache... It's like I got Sand in my head that grinds against my brain Everytime I move....
After 7 minutes of clutching his head, waiting for the pain to go away or lessen down, he slowly sat on the ground, still clutching his head.
Cashew: When I died in the Old World... I met that woman who then sent me to this World... When I died just now, there was nothing. Pitch black. Done... I guess if I die in this world, it's over for me. No third chances. No being reborn in another World or back in my Old World. I'm gone... Not even that woman was around. Looks like I now wanna find a way to cheat death... Or avoid it for as long as possible.
Cashew attempted to stand up slowly, still clutching his head in pain, but he attempted to walk into his Cabin, taking slow steps before taking his shoulder bag off-... Or, attempting to and hitting his head with the strap, sending him into the ground clutching his head in pain again as he feels like sandpaper is being dragged across his brain.
After spending 10 minutes on the ground, he stood up slowly, using the chair to hold himself up.
Cashew: Oh yeah, Golem... Thank you for reviving me, please don't let anyone disturb me. I'll let you decide how to do that...
The Golem Perked it's head up as it listened to its Masters new orders. Immediately obeying and heading to its Camouflage spot to ambush any potential intruders.
Meanwhile, Cashew Carefully removed his shoulder bag, taking out the blanket he bought and laying it neatly on the bed on top of the wolf pelts he placed previously and climbing underneath the blanket and on top of the wolf pelts. Laying on his side and clutching his head in pain, he tried to sleep, but the best he could do was find a position to lay in that was the least painful and try not to move at all.
3 Weeks have passed Since Cashews near Death and he learned a few new things about his body.
First thing, he learned that the Golem messed up and got dirt in his head, do now he has essentially permanent migraines and head pain.
Second thing, The Dragon Meat, Even though it increases his appetite, it also increases his ability to go without food for long periods of time without suffering. He is hungry right now, but not starving, even though the Crystalized Mont carcass was the last thing he ate 3 weeks ago.
As for Cashews Migraines, if he moves slowly and doesn't move his head quickly, it's more bearable, but his head is permanently hurting.
He doesn't wanna get out of bed, he was laying down the entire 3 weeks laying in the least painful position he could find, but he has to get up now. His Golem will need a Mana Recharge soon and just because he can go longer than normal without food doesn't mean he doesn't need food at all. He also can't spend the rest of his life in bed, he needs to get up, he doesn't know what the Guards plans are, but he can't just lay around and wait.
Getting up for the first time was the most painful experience he's had yet, even worst than when his stomach exploded. Not much worse, but still worst.
Cashew: Yeah... I'm gonna need to move around and get used to constant head pain... Sitting in the least painful position and getting up for the first time in weeks is not gonna help...
Cashew Slowly got out of bed, clutching his head in pain, his entire face seems to have a permanent Red/Sunburnt look to it, but it's like that because he's in pain.
He slowly walked to the door and opened it...
