I did not know how he managed to stop me from taking those final steps out of this place but he did. And my curiosity always managed to get me in trouble so I was low key expecting something bad to happen soon. After all, I was on the run.
But Kashar's words intrigued me and while I knew that Mei hated Kashar will all of her being, she did not do anything to him, she simply followed him around and as expected, he could not see her.
"Be quick." I said as I took a seat across him in the same shop I met Karl. He was working and managing his shop. He did not seem to recognize me, which I thought, was as a result of Baurbius erasing his memories.
"I am completely alone, I promise you." Kashar said, his eyes showing genuineness but I had learnt the hard way not to judge people based on their appearance.
"How did you get here? How were you not burned in the fire?" I asked him despite having my own ideas as go why and how he was spared.
