He was too quiet. While I had cried my eyes out for a stranger that I had come to love, he kept quiet and set her down on the couch, sitting on the floor and staring at her peaceful face.
She went with a smile.
And left behind broken hearts.
Not a word was said between the three of us. Simon simply patted my back as I cried uncontrollably and Baurbius, he was acting like he had lost it.
He did not love an inch from where he sat, looking at her as if it would help her miraculously wake up.
His grief was much more quieter than mine, but it was deeper than I could ever imagine.
I heard Simon sniff quietly on many occasions but he still kept quiet.
How was he supposed to live now? She was everything to him. He kept looking at her, caressing her face and kissing her hands.
