Inside the other side stood Ms. Patrice, her eyes wide open in surprise. She never expected that a billionaire like Miguel Reynolds would one day come to her doorstep.
"Am I dreaming…? He's so handsome!" she thought inwardly, her cheeks tinged with an awkward smile.
"Good morning, Miss!" Miguel politely greeted, his voice smooth as silk. But Ms. Patrice was still caught in her joyous panic, unable to formulate a coherent response.
"Excuse us, Miss, are you okay?" Bruce, a friend of Miguel's who had come along for support, asked with genuine concern.
"Ow! I think I might faint!" Ms. Patrice stammered, clutching the doorframe as if it were a lifeline.
"Well, she looks like a psychopath, far more than Lucia!" Andrea whispered from behind, his witty remark causing the boys behind them to chuckle softly, trying to stifle their laughter.
With a sudden rush of courage, Ms. Patrice took a deep breath.
