The next morning, Morgan and I were summoned to Father's study before breakfast.
"How was your evening, ladies?" he asked in an oddly kind tone.
Morgan didn't seem to notice it and quickly retold everything in a very grand and wonderful way.
"Father! It was magical. The lights and music were something I've never seen done before. Christian suggested that I fill in for the two missing models at the show, and let me tell you, I stole the show!"
I held back the urge to scoff at her self-centeredness, but hearing the night retold from her perspective gave me a good insight into how oblivious she really was.
"Christian suggested that you two fill in? That's interesting," my father said, looking at us with interest. "Tell me more."
Morgan giggled, "He knew that I would outside that slut, Eve. The show was technically her debut show in the modeling industry. Must have been a really big slap to the face when I captured everyone's attention."
