With that, Academician Zhang walked out of the room.
The woman responded with a simple "Okay," her expression completely unshaken, as if she had expected to become the Director of the Research Division all along.
After the Federation member left, Aisha casually assigned the upcoming tasks before heading toward the Nine-Story Monster Tower.

On the other side, Lin Fan had just finished looting the chests on the second floor.
The rewards here were significantly better than those on the first floor. He found over ten diamonds, two stacks of gunpowder, a large amount of redstone, six heart fragments, and—most importantly—a full set of Fiery Armor.
Lin Fan removed his iron armor and handed it to Heloi, then put on the Fiery Armor set himself.
This armor was crafted from Fiery Ingots, a resource from a mod Lin Fan had played with in his previous life—Twilight Forest Mod. However, during his time mining in this world, he had never encountered any Fiery Ingots, meaning the Fiery Armor must have come from some other region in this Minecraft world.
That meant there were still undiscovered areas, possibly with other mods, unique ores, and gameplay mechanics.
After finishing his loot run in several large rooms, Lin Fan's traveler's backpack was almost full.
He hadn't expected the Nine-Story Monster Tower to hold this many rewards—one traveler's backpack wasn't even enough to carry everything! Originally, he had thought he could store all the loot from this dungeon in just a single backpack.
To free up space, Lin Fan took out all the seeds and food in his backpack and handed them to Lilian.

The steamed fish head with chopped chili was drenched in an irresistibly spicy sauce, and the tender fish meat sent waves of pleasure through his taste buds.
For a moment, Lin Fan thought it might just be his imagination, but…
The food in this world tasted even better than in his original world.
After days of surviving on rotten flesh, finally getting to eat real food made him so emotional he nearly teared up.
Once they had eaten their fill, Lin Fan led Lilian and Heloi toward the third floor.
However, just as they reached the staircase, he ran into an unexpected familiar face.
