"Axel!" Jane and Ann cried out. But that didn't end up too well. Because before they could breath, the monsters had come sprinting towards them with gleaming red eyes.
They contained the teammates right away. Jane was quick to block and rise faster when she gets hit, but her endurance was lacking against the ferocity of a typical B-rank monster. The monster hit her into the wall, sending blows after blows into her until she slopped like a corpse onto the ground.
No one could shout or cry over her defeat. Because either way round, everyone was contained. Even Timothy whose neck was just inches from, probably, the boss monster's sharp fangs.
He clenched his fist. "They're falling..."
First, it was Jane. Then. Kael, Leon, Ann, Sam to the entire teammates laying silent in seconds...
