He kept throwing doors open, the security alarm still blaring.
But Jun-ho's mind went silent the moment he reached the glass room.
The metallic stench of fresh blood hit him. The hallway behind had five, maybe six men on the floor. One of them still had his eyes wide open, like he'd stared death in the face.
Jun-ho froze.
In the middle of the room, no Colen. No sign of Salin.
Only bodies. And blood. A lot of blood.
Jun-ho stared, gun lowered, lost in his own thoughts. Like he'd just lost something. Or everything.

As he turned the last corner, he saw the soft glow of light from the outside. A service exit, just where Jimbei and Natali had said it would be.
