It's been a week since 'I broke it' incident and Vincent still can't look at Jae Won's face for more than one minute. Even though Jae Won was aware he was being ignored by Vincent ever since that day, he has sworn to wait for Vincent to come to terms with his feelings and even if Vincent had to avoid him, he doesn't mind and will still wait for him.
On the other hand, Emelia had been ignoring Vincent for the past week. Why is that? Just because he spent the night with Charles and had to ride with his future father in law even though she did score some points with him that would earn her the future daughter-in-law if the need arise. But she was still mad at Vincent for sleeping over at somewhere.
Vincent keeps apologizing to Emelia for sleeping over but he was still ignored and decided to give her space for a while.
And for the past week, Charles has been too close to Jae Won which wasn't sitting well with Vincent even though he clearly hasn't accepted his feelings for Jae Won.
Back at work, Emelia was walking alongside with Vincent with a face gloomy clearly showing some bad air between them. As they were walking up to the elevator, they both heard two colleagues talking about the son of Mr Jonathan.
"Have you heard about the CEO's son? asked by a petite frame young lady with a long, slender limbs and a delicate features which most men would go for if that was their type to the other colleague who had a fuller figure, with curves and softness that gave her a warm and attractive appearance to any man.
"Yeah I have, the rumors says he is a fine young man with a face of a god that exceeds beauty" she answered.
"I wonder who her girlfriend is. She would be one lucky girl to have a handsome rich man" said by the petite young lady as he closed her eyes imagining God knows what.
"Too bad, we haven't met him before. I heard he is interning at this moment and would take over in the next few years. I can't wait to make him mine." Said by the fuller young woman.
Vincent who was being talked about smirked at the words of the two young women who clearly has leveled up his handsomeness to the highest level.
Emelia on the other hand, was so proud to be Vincent's girlfriend. After they entered the elevator going up to the third floor, Emelia pulled Vincent closer to her as she gave him a breathtaking kiss that was out of the world.
Vincent, "….."
"Uuuh, cameras". Vincent said as he gently pushed her backwards pointing at the cameras in the elevator. "Oh come on, you are the CEO's son. I've forgiven you" she said.
Vincent chuckled at the words that came out of his mouth "is it because of what the girls said?" He asked. Emelia was quiet for a while while she smiled before she replied "maybe or maybe not". They elevator rang indicating they had reached their destination.
While those two was having their moment, Isabella was recovering well and was able to move her leg and arm a little. Claudia always made sure she visits her after school and give the notes she took during lectures for the last week.
On the other hand, while Vincent and Emelia were busy doing what interns should do, Jae Won was being interrogated by Mrs Gladys and Mr Jonathan who decided to go to work a little late today.
Jae Won who had no idea that after breakfast would be his interrogation session. Even Vincent wasn't aware of why his parents had planned. They made sure everyone left with the excuse they wanted to rest for a while before they go to work which clearly wasn't what they wanted to do.
After they all left, Jae Won was about to go to his room and think of what to do next when Mrs Gladys approached him and said she had a little discussion with him.
Jae Won didn't clearly think much about it till he saw Mr Jonathan seated on the couch with serious face as if he was to scold him for doing a bad thing.
Jae Won nervously bit his ips as he walked slowly towards him while Mrs Gladys walked past him in a fast strides and sat next to her husband.
Mr Jonathan gestured for Jae Won to sit on the couch next to them as they began their interrogation which wasn't an interrogation.
"After Vincent brought you home, I filed a police report for a taking in foreigner just in case someone files a missing person report but for the past few months, we haven't heard anything from the police and no one has reported any missing child" said by Mr Jonathan.
Jae Won became mute for a while as he feels bad for not disclosing all his information to the people who had taken him in as their biological son.
"We are really worried for you and your family. They might be really scared thinking you might be dead. Is there any memory of yours that could help us find your parents so they could at least be happy you are alive" Mrs Gladys said after they waited for a while for Jae Won to speak.
"Uuurm, I, I, I'm sorry but I still can't remember where I'm from. The only thing I remember is me being in a hospital nothing more. I'm sorry" Jae Won said as tears began to run down his cheeks and this was not a crocodile tears but genuine one.
He felt bad he wasn't telling them the truth and before he says something he thought of waiting for Vincent so they could find ways to deal with it since he opened up to him the first day they met.
On the other hand, he cried because he missed his parents especially his big brother. Has he regained consciousness or still comatose, he had no idea but he really missed them but didn't plan to go back now. Even though his education is at stake which he didn't mind since he wasn't interested in a business school to begin with.
"Okay, we are sorry, we didn't mean for you to cry. You are twenty years old right? You would be in a University if you were with your parents. We've decided to put you through school here, is that okay?" Mr Jonathan asked genuinely.
Jae Won nodded in agreement since he had no where to go and it would be a good thing to attend school even if it was for a short time.
"What do you want to study?" Mrs Gladys asked. "I want to study photography if it's okay" Jae Won answered as he began to wipe off the tears from his face.
"It's okay, and it's a three months or a year course which will depend on you. First, we are going to apply for the three months for you and after a while if you decides to extend it we will gladly do so…we hope it's okay?" Said by Mr Jonathan.
Jae Won was lost of words, he could do what he really loved and they would be no stopping him. Without much thought, he stood up from the couch and hugged them together while tears kept running down his cheeks even though he had wiped it away seconds ago.
"Oh dear, we will do everything for you since you are our son. Don't cry dear" said by Mrs Gladys, she decided to crack a joke that could make him laugh which she succeeded even though it was not a joke.
"Stop crying, you aren't handsome when you cry" she said making Jae Won laughed out loud through his tears so as Mr Jonathan.
They hugged for some time before they let go off each other "we are running late for work. We will talk about this later when we find a good school which is closer to us for you" Mr Jonathan said while he walked out of the living room and when he got to the door he turned to face Jae Won and gave him a smile that warm Jae Won's heart.
After they left, he began to wonder if Vincent was in with them. As he thought through the morning while he lay on his bed he decided to text Vincent as he couldn't wait any longer.
Jae Won, "we're you in with them?"
Vincent who was busy looking through some documents his boss asked to check any errors suddenly received a text with the vibration clearly notifying him and without much thought he slipped his hands in his pocket and took out his phone only to be met such a text.
Vincent, "....."
"In with who?"
Jae Won, "with your parents. Were you in with them?". Jae was beginning to get pissed because he thought Vincent was feigning ignorance.
Vincent, "what am I in with my parents?". The direction where the conversation was leading to, he clearly had to call him because it seems he was being accused of something he had no idea what it was about.
On the third rang, Jae Won picked up "why did you do that?" Jae Won threw the question without any greeting or any kind.
"Jae, relax what are you talking about?"
