But something broke her.
Something so shocking it unraveled her mind.
It was all an illusion.
She awoke inside the Ashfall Fracture—a monstrous crack in the sky that split reality itself and began the slow death of the world. For two months, her body slept while her mind lived 10,000 lives. She laughed, killed, wept, loved, and died—again and again. None of it was real.
But now she's awake. And wrong.
Her soul stitched together with madness, poetry, and a hunger for meaning. Kaine is part-child, part-monster, all-chaos. Her red eyes itch with knowledge no human should hold. And in this world of ash, death, and teeth—she smiles.

Alice… or was it Iris?
