AMAYA'S POV
What just happened?
After a brief make out session with Maxim, he had fallen asleep, leaving me sitting beside him, thinking about what had just happened.
When I spoke to him about moving forward, I was scared of what he would say. After saving him, I wanted to know what and how everything would end. I didn't want to be told things that weren't clear, I was tired of waiting and wondering what was waiting for me. So, I had to ask him what we were and what he wanted for once. I had expected Maxim to tell me off; to tell me he didn't want me, per his usual words.
Now, he wanted me to be with him. He accepted me, making me happy and less worried. After everything, he now wanted me as his partner. It was a refreshing feeling.
I looked away from his sleeping form and got up from the bed. I walked to the door then left the room and yelped when I almost bumped into Stanley.
"Stanley, seriously?"
He chuckled. "I'm sorry. I was coming to check on him… How is he?"
