Outside the windows of the lecture hall, leaves from the fall softly rustle. The smooth rustling is often able to calm my mind, until this day——I have spent every class throughout the morning recalling the scene I saw earlier in Esmund's chamber——
At first, there was only an empty bathroom with that bizarre sigil marked with water on the floor, which was once said to be a hallucination I was seeing. Then after the door was opened for the second time, Esmund appeared out of nowhere, clothless while covered in water, lying right at where the sigil was supposed to be.
Perhaps there is a reason behind Esmund's unforeseen presence, maybe he has been in one of the corners in the bathroom that I did not realise when I first entered. And during the short period between the timing after I shut the door and before I opened it for the second time, he slipped and fell to the floor…
