Chapter 95 - SPOP Chapter 93 Not Taking the Blame

Flames burned on the Zanpakutō, the high temperature causing the air to shimmer slightly. A half-man-high wine jar was yanked up by Rojen, who then tilted his head back and drank deeply.

"Guāng Guāng Guāng!"

The spicy sensation filled his throat as the liquor flowed down, but Rojen's eyes grew increasingly clear.

[The Logan] sailed swiftly, and under Jason's control, the speed had already reached its limit.

After a full half hour, Rojen finally stood up, and just as he gripped his Zanpakutō, the half-man-high wine jar shattered with a "kā cā" sound, yet no liquid spilled out.

Unknowingly, he had finished the entire jar of liquor.

"Are you okay, Captain?" Jason scratched his head, seeing Rojen approach, and couldn't help but ask.

"I'm fine." Rojen nodded, his gaze fixed ahead.

"Stay alert; there were no Marines on the way here, but that might not be the case now."

After sailing for about six hours, most of the Marines had been drawn away, resulting in the area they had just passed being a blank spot for Marine forces. But now, they had reached the edge of this sea region, where the enemy would likely be more vigilant.

"Understood!" Jason replied in a low voice, his expression becoming much more serious.

Rojen then walked over to Rouge with a faint smile on his face.

"Sister-in-law, you should go inside and rest well; I'll take care of everything else!"

His voice was calm, yet filled with boundless confidence.

The sea was vast and boundless; as long as they escaped the Marines' encirclement, the sea would be free for them to leap like fish, and the sky would be high for birds to fly.

Everything would no longer be a problem!

"This speed is still a bit slow!" Stepping to the back of the ship, Rojen frowned and muttered.

Behind [The Logan], there were no signs of Marine pursuers, only the ripples left by the ship cutting through the seawater.

Yet Rojen still felt a vague unease; the possession time was limited. Despite his current strength, there was less than half an hour left.

If the Marines caught up, their outcome would be uncertain.

"We must increase speed! As long as we get out of the Baterilla Sea region, we will be much safer."

His eyes flickered as he looked at the calm sea behind them, and Rojen slowly drew Ryūjin Jakka from his waist.

"Chī Chī Chī!"

A few sparks ignited, quickly spreading across the entire Zanpakutō.

"Using the recoil of the flames, increase [The Logan]'s speed!" Narrowing his eyes, Rojen suddenly swung his sword, slashing at the flames behind him.

"Wēng Wēng Wēng!"

In an instant, a torrent of flames shot out like a cannonball. A moment later, it fiercely plunged into the sea.

"Jason, Lordling, sister-in-law, hold on to the ship, we're off!"

A smile appeared on his face as he paused.

"Set sail!"

"Boom!"

At the moment the flames crashed into the sea, the entire rear of [The Logan] trembled, followed by the middle, and finally, the whole ship began to vibrate with a "wēng wēng wēng" sound, generating immense power in an instant, and [The Logan] roared to life.

It howled and bellowed, transforming into a released arrow, shooting forward at an incredibly rapid speed.

The sails had already billowed high in the strong wind generated by this impact, and even the mast had slightly twisted.

In that moment, [The Logan] seemed to become a streak of light, recklessly dashing across the sea.

As it sped along, the flames provided nearly endless power, creating a "chī chī chī" mist, and the sea boiled continuously, with the tail of [The Logan] appearing as if it were on fire.

In just five short minutes, Jason and the others spotted a dense cluster of warships sailing in parallel ahead, easily numbering in the dozens.

Instantly, the expressions of everyone on the ship turned serious.

They realized that the Marines must have stationed heavy forces at the edge of this sea region, but the sheer number of ships still shocked them.

Although the dozens of warships were small-scale vessels, their quantity was quite significant. This was nearly equivalent to a third of a Buster Call's scale.

"Captain! Marines!" Jason shouted, his expression tense.

His strength was considerable, and his attack power was exceptional, but facing such an enormous fleet left him at a loss.

Standing at the rear of the ship, Rojen heard the call and slowly sheathed his Zanpakutō, his gaze sharpening.

"Keep moving forward; leave everything to me!"

His calm voice reached Jason's ears, but Rojen had already brushed past him, positioning himself at the front of the ship.

"Is this the final hurdle?"

Once a ship in the sea started moving, it became difficult to find. From here on, as long as they could navigate through this fleet, their plan would succeed perfectly!

"The possession time is still sufficient!" Muttering to himself, Rojen stood at the bow, gripping his Zanpakutō tightly.

Dressed in a black robe with a feathered cloak draped over it, he exuded an overwhelming dominance at that moment.

Four thousand five hundred meters away, on one of the warships at the center of the fleet.

The Lieutenant Commander was sweating profusely, nervously watching the Den Den Mushi in his hand.

"I am Vice Admiral Noas; everything is under my command!"

Just moments ago, upon spotting the rapidly sailing wooden boat that seemed to split the sea in half, the Lieutenant Commander had already dialed the Den Den Mushi to the command center, and the one answering was Vice Admiral Noas.

The news had already spread that the person on that wooden boat could contend with an Admiral and had escaped from the tightly sealed encirclement around Baterilla Island.

He wasn't foolish; he understood what this meant.

"These guys possess terrifying strength!"

The moment he heard this news, the Lieutenant Commander shivered, quickly dialing the Den Den Mushi again.

He had no intention of charging into command the Marines to intercept the enemy, nor did he think about gaining any credit.

At this moment, hearing the voice from the Den Den Mushi, he inexplicably felt relieved.

"Great, it's connected; I finally don't have to take the blame for this."

The Lieutenant Commander had no confidence in stopping the enemy, and if they escaped, the blame would surely fall on him.

He had no desire to be the fool who took the blame.

Even if there was a one percent chance of failure, he didn't want to take that risk.

"Follow my orders; prepare to fire!"

The authoritative voice of Vice Admiral Noas echoed again from the Den Den Mushi.

"Yes!"

The Lieutenant Commander shouted, immediately ordering the ships to prepare.

At that moment, nearly twenty warships creaked as their hulls moved, the dark cannon mouths quickly extending from the ships and turning to aim at [The Logan].

"Ship No. 1 ready!"

"Ship No. 4 ready!"

"Ship No. 5 is prepared!"

A series of loud shouts rang out, and the Lieutenant Commander felt a sense of relief wash over him.
