Chapter 105: You Are All My Food
This method can be referenced in the previously mentioned virus evolution theory.
Chang Wei still couldn't understand why the meteorite had to be made into an arrow to shoot people. Wouldn't it be more discreet and practical to turn it into a dagger, short sword, or steel needle? And why go through all the trouble of carving a bug sculpture or intricate patterns on it?
5. Father Pucci's Discs!
A new method introduced in Stone Ocean (Part 6), where Father Pucci's Stand, Whitesnake, can extract Stand abilities from Stand users and convert them into discs.
By inserting a disc into a target, the recipient can acquire the Stand ability stored within it.
Most of the characters in Part 6 gained their Stand abilities through this method.
However, not just anyone can receive a Stand disc—when Jolyne tried inserting Star Platinum's disc, it was instantly ejected.
Father Pucci: "I don't produce discs; I'm merely a distributor!"
6. The Devil's Palm!
A new method from Steel Ball Run (Part 7). In the Arizona desert, there is a quicksand region known as the "Devil's Palm," named by the local Native Americans. Anyone who comes near or passes through this area may gain a Stand ability.
According to Native American legends, the Devil's Palm is the remnant of a crater left by an extraterrestrial meteorite, possessing mysterious powers. Its location and appearance are unpredictable.
The seventh-generation JoJo obtained his Stand this way.
Chang Wei figured that there might be a Stand virus here as well. Given how long it has remained active, its resilience must be incredible.
7. Implanting the Corpse!
Another method introduced in Steel Ball Run. The so-called "corpse" refers to the remains of an unidentified saint from the first century, discovered in the Americas. The corpse is also the primary cause behind the Devil's Palm phenomenon.
Anyone who implants a part of the corpse into themselves must have compatibility; otherwise, they won't gain a Stand. Even those who do obtain a Stand will lose it once the corpse is removed.
However, if someone is inherently capable of becoming a Stand user, removing the corpse won't take away their Stand.
It's yet another efficient way to mass-produce Stand users.

"From the information I just received, it looks like the young Joseph Joestar is still just… Seriously?"
After confirming the current timeline, Chang Wei locked onto his first target!
———
The SPW Foundation had hired the Ripple warrior, Straizo. But the moment Straizo saw a wall filled with Stone Masks, he immediately killed his companions on the spot.
Ever since he encountered the vampire Dio fifty years ago, he had been obsessed with the idea of immortality. Now that so many Stone Masks were in front of him, he was determined to fulfill his desire.
"This world's vampires are more like a genetic variant rather than the mythical ones from Hellsing."
Chang Wei quickly located Straizo. Naturally, he was very interested in this ready-made vampire. He also planned to find the weakest of the Pillar Men for some research.
"You… What the hell are you?!"
Straizo stared at Chang Wei in utter disbelief. He had just transformed into a vampire—a so-called perfect being. Though he had lost the ability to use Ripple, he had gained immense power. And yet, this mysterious man had appeared out of nowhere and easily subdued him.
The strength he had been so proud of now felt as feeble as that of a child.
Joseph Joestar, who had been fighting Straizo with his Thompson Ripple Overdrive, was just as shocked. Moments ago, he had unloaded a Thompson submachine gun at Straizo, turning him into a bloody mess. Yet, the vampire had casually regenerated as if nothing had happened.
But now, in just a few minutes, this newcomer had completely consumed Straizo!
"Don't be ridiculous. I'm no monster."
Chang Wei chuckled. A blood mist erupted from his hand, instantly devouring Straizo. Joseph was horrified. Grabbing Smokey, the Black kid, he bolted.
"Are you kidding me?! That guy still says he's not a monster?!"
Joseph had thought Straizo was already the most terrifying creature—impervious to bullets, surviving grenades—but this new guy had devoured Straizo in mere minutes. A monster among monsters!
Chang Wei ignored Joseph. He had no reason to cozy up to him, especially when Joseph was still just a street punk.
Instead, he focused on experiencing Straizo's newfound abilities:
Humans or other beings transformed by the Stone Mask gain near-immortality.
Superhuman strength and body control, allowing for extreme manipulation of one's physique.
The ability to absorb life energy and convert it into personal power.
Most importantly, JoJo vampires aren't undead; they are simply humans whose potential has been unlocked. This means their offspring won't inherit vampiric traits or become half-vampires.
"Not bad, but nothing special."
Chang Wei was a little disappointed. The genetic points he gained from absorbing Straizo were only half of what he got from a Hunter in Prototype.
Perhaps it was because Straizo hadn't absorbed enough life energy yet.
"If that's the case, then the Pillar Men probably aren't that impressive either. Not even the 'Ultimate Lifeform' seems worth much…"
Chang Wei was slightly let down. He might be a hard counter to the Ultimate Lifeform.
But after thinking it through, it actually made sense—he was just too powerful.
Of course, no matter how strong he was, he wouldn't be reckless. JoJo's world had many hidden dangers, like that street you could never turn back on.
Who knew how many terrifying things lurked in this world?
Still, it wouldn't hurt to get a little reckless when dealing with known entities.
"Let me think... The weakest of the Pillar Men seemed to be in a cave somewhere in Mexico. That name, Santana, was something we just randomly gave him... If I find something purely annoying, I might as well just kill them all."
Stretching lazily, Chang Wei vanished into thin air, instantly arriving at his destination.
By now, he could move at supersonic speeds without making a sound. It was simple—by refining his telekinesis to the molecular level, he could essentially mimic a Kryptonian's bio-field, breaking physics however he pleased.
At this level, his speed was indistinguishable from teleportation. To an observer, he might as well have just blinked into existence.
———
In 1938, the Speedwagon Foundation discovered a cave in Mexico where Santana was sleeping. Speedwagon observed that Santana was embedded in a stone pillar. Judging from the murals, he deduced that the Pillar Men needed to sleep for 2,000 years to maintain eternal youth, though they were vulnerable to sunlight.
Santana still had a faint body temperature and pulse. Around him, numerous Stone Masks were scattered.
To destroy Santana, Speedwagon had brought Ripple warrior Straizo to the cave. But Straizo, desiring the Stone Mask's power, killed his team and attacked Speedwagon.
However, Speedwagon survived.
