"I—I-I had no idea," Raymond whispered. Shock masked his face as he stared at Nicole.
Nicole shook her head, not sure what to say next.
The police sealed the whole place and began to carry out their investigation.
"Let's just go back to meet the others," Nicole stated and walked forward.
Raymond wiped his face with his hand, and he blinked before following behind her. The piece of information confused him.
He should have asked questions a few years ago. She had suddenly come up to him, and broken up with him. She claimed she was in love with someone else and that really hit him. He tried to reconcile and build back their connection but she totally shut him out.
Those were one of his darkest days and worst still, he just got into Oxford. Everything just felt too much on him. Handling school life and the heartbreak that almost made him go mad.
And now, he found out that his problem was all caused by his late mother!!
"Holy crap." He cursed.
