Chapter 5 - Chapter 5 Garden Of The Castle

"Six years have passed"

As I gaze out the castle window, the summer breeze caresses my soul, and I smile, At 6 years old, My memories seem clearer now. Notus was never meant to survive, yet fate had other plans, placing me in Notus's body.

"I guess I won't be dying after all," I think to myself. A whispered apology escapes my lips, "Sorry, God, for cursing you," An awkward smile crept onto my face as I thought to myself.

I stood gazing out the window, lost in thought, Liam's gentle voice broke the silence. "Lord Notus," he greeted me with a smile and bowed, "would you like to take a walk outside?" The title still felt awkward.

"Okay, Liam," I said, a gentle smile playing on my lips. I nodded, and Liam's face lit up with a warm smile in response.

"Please just wait a minute, my lord," Liam said, already moving to tidy up my room.

As I looked at Liam cleaning my room, memories flooded my mind. He'd been by my side since childhood, always rushing to my side whenever I cried, no matter what he was doing.

My mother's arrangement, assigning him as my personal servant, The other servants who was flirting had been reassigned - to the eastern estates, perhaps? I'd forgotten the details. What matter was Liam's unwavering dedication, and my own dependence on him.

"Then let's be off, my lord," Liam said, finishing his task. "Where are we headed, Liam?" I asked, noticing the different route we are taking.

"The Duchess has ask me to escort you to the castle garden today, Lady Duchess believes the garden would be to your liking," Liam replied with a smile and excitement.

"So, what's special about this garden?" I asked, "If I tell you, it won't be a surprise, so I can't, my lord," he said, his voice tinged with a hint of sadness from not telling me.

"Don't worry, haha" I reassured him, seeing the hint of sadness.

"I forgot for a moment that the tables were turned here." I thought to myself.

"Women were the strong ones, in charge and making the decisions. Men, on the other hand, seemed to play a more... supportive role."

"Lost in thought, I didn't notice we'd arrived,"

"We reach the garden, my lord."Liam said, his voice breaking the silence.

As I return from my thought, my eyes widened in surprise. Before me lay a sea of flowers of different kinds, their velvety petals glistening in the sunlight. The wind swept through my black hair as I walked toward the garden, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of wonder. The garden was divine, a true masterpiece.
