Four whistles mean everyone must retreat immediately, no lingering!
"Four whistles, this is the first time, right? Who is it, what have they encountered?"
"It must be something extremely powerful, either multiple Cold Beasts or an intermediate one; or perhaps a very strong Deceitful Monster..."
The two exchanged a shocked glance and sprinted away frantically toward the perimeter, guessing as they ran what could have been encountered!
In the current Great Xia, even with Deceitful Monsters, as long as they're not too strong, no one would normally blow the bone whistle four times, given the presence of solidified fire oil, torches, and so many people.
Let alone ordinary Deceitful Monsters!
