Daniel didn't care why Philip was there. He was still annoyed that Chantelle had accepted Philip's Instagram follow request.
Frowning, he checked his phone and hit the follow request button again.
From where he stood, he saw Chantelle's phone light up. He ducked behind the vegetable baskets and watched her carefully.
She glanced at her screen but didn't accept the request.
What's wrong with her? Didn't she see it? Is she ignoring me on purpose?
Not ready to give up, he pressed the request button again.
His face sank when he saw Chantelle ignore her phone, even though the notification sound was clear.
"What are you doing, Daniel? Did you hear what they were saying? They've almost finished two plates of crayfish! It looks so good. I wish I could have a bite…" Philip complained.
"Stop whining. I'll get you some, later," Daniel replied without looking up. His eyes were still fixed on his phone.
