Although this was an opportunity to demonstrate his responsibility as the President of the Gemology Society, there were too many uncertainties, and the location was terrible.
The Dark Territory contains quite a few underground cavities large enough for Giants to move around and even for a Giant Dragon to soar, but more areas are narrow and cramped tunnels and caves where only humanoid creatures can move about.
A Dragon Species entering such an area means giving up the largest racial advantage. A Giant Dragon on the ground, unable to fly, is merely an enhanced version of the Earth Dragon, with a greatly increased probability of falling.
