It was around 6 in the evening by the time Aira and Maxwell got back from the Sect.
Walking through the front door, Aira kicked off her shoes with a grumpy expression on her face.
"I couldn't get anything done today… They didn't leave me alone for a second honey, how where you putting up with that?!"
*Sigh* "Yes it was very hard"
He said with a calm but gentle smile on his face but inwardly he was thinking
'I got so much work done today that i had been behind on for the last few years! Finally! I'll have some free time on my hands and won't have to visit the Sect daily!'
Though his thoughts where quickly halted by Aira next sentence.
"Honey why do i feel like you're really happy right now?"
His clam smile quickly froze.
"Honey why aren't you answering me? Did you like doing all that work today? You can have mine so i don't have to go back, how about it?"
Gulping nervously he started to say
"Uh Dear, My angel, Sweetheart, I don't wan-"
"Hehe Too bad, gave your self away with your sweet endearing names."
Stretching her arms up above her head, a smile came across her face and she continued
"Now I need me some vitamin b!"
She started making her way up to the first floor and could hear faint giggling coming from upstairs.
This caused her to quickly rush up the stairs all the way up to the third floor, where she saw Arian holding Atlas and Altair down, smothering them with kisses while tickling their belly's and sides.
…
Arian noticing someone's presence in the room looked up to see Aira looking at her with a smile and then both nodded at each other.
Arian pulled back from Atlas and Altair. Both where panting and out of breath. Atlas looked at her and started to say
"Auntie *pant* *pant* n-no more! can't-"
"My babies, Momma needs some vitamin b!"
"MOMMA!" "MOMMY!"
Both Atlas and Altair jumped to their feet, clearly faking their exhaustion, took off towards Aira.
Aira picked them up in a big hug while squeezing them tightly and slowly swinging them back in forth. After a few minutes she set them back down on the floor while patting their heads.
Suddenly Aira jumped on Atlas and Arian jumped on Altair. Before they had a chance to respond, Aira and Arian laid the twins gently on the floor and began kissing and giving them tickles.
After a few minutes they all calmed back down and Aira started asking the twins about their day.
They then went down to the first floor to have dinner before seeing off Arian.
…
In the morning Aira went to go get the twins up for the day, got them ready, then headed down to the dining room for breakfast.
Sitting at the dining table eating breakfast, Maxwell looked to Aira and asked
"Are you getting them started with endurance and strength training today right?"
"Yes we'll be using the training grounds beyond the garden, is everything back up there already setup?"
"Yes it should be, i asked the maids to take everything you all will need for today back there."
Looking over to the twins he continued
"You guys excited to get to training and to start get ready for your awakening in a few years?"
Altair nodded her head while munching on some biscuits. Atlas sipping on his milk before setting it down, asked
"What all will we be doing?"
Aira smirked, putting down her butter knife, she ran a hand through Atlas hair and said
"You two will being doing an endurance exercise to start, next will be mental and focus exercises, then strength. After those you will be picking out your first weapon."
Atlas's eyes sparkled with excitement at the mention of choosing a weapon, after reading countless stories about epic sword wielding main characters he was very curious about them.
Noticing the look in his eyes Aira giggled and said to him
"Don't think it will be easy, the path to mastering a weapon is a very long one. The weapon you may want to use might not be the best choice but there's always option available to you. Like say you want to use a great sword but aren't strong enough but you're very nibble and quick so a dagger or bow might be a good choice."
"What weapons will we be able to choose from mommy?"
Altair wiping away the crumbs from the corner of her mouth asked. Aira with a sly smile spoke
"You'll see when you get done… if you have the energy left to."
After quickly finishing the rest of their breakfast, Atlas and Altair took off running to the main living room.
They sat down on the couch, eagerly questioning each other about what they think their training will be about.
Meanwhile Aira was seeing off Maxwell at the front door.
"Dear make sure not to take it easy on them, I know you don't wanna see them hurt but it'll be best for their future if they learn these lessons early on."
"I know honey, I want them to be strong, strong enough we don't need to worry about their safety. I'll teach them everything i know."
Aira said then leaned in and have him a peck on lips and continued
"Have a good day at the Sect, see you later"
"Take care, later"
…
A little while later, walking out the back door, Aira led Atlas and Altair to the garden.
Walking up to a section of the hedge, Aira waved her hand. The dense foliage retreated to the left and right sides, revealing a path that the end of could be seen.
Atlas and Altair looked wided eyed at the spectacle their mother just pulled off infront of them. Looking back at their mother Atlas asked
"Has that always been here?"
"Hehe yup!"
Aira answered with a proud happy smile on her face, she loves to show off infront of her kids. Curious Altair asked
"Mommy how'd you do that?"
"That was plant manipulation honey bun but don't worry about that right now, you're about to start for first exercise which is endurance."
She said with a smirk and continued
"You'll be running this path to the top of the mountain. Let's see… it's around 9 now so i'll give you till a little past lunch to get to the top. You'll get lunch when you get to the top. Remember to stay on the main path which is the widest. I'll be waiting for you up there so get at it."
After, she disappeared from her spot, leaving only Atlas and Altair there.
Atlas and Altair looked to and other and nodded.
"Race you to the top Tair, you up for it?"
"Mhm, might as well stay here though since i'm going to win hehe."
Taking off in a sprint they started making their way up the mountain.
…
After 30 minutes of running Atlas had his hands on his knees, panting and covered in sweat.
20 feet behind him Altair wasn't any better off. She was sitting on the ground and out of breath.
After catching his breath after a few minutes, Atlas looked back at Altair and made his way back down the path to her. Extending his hand to help her up he said
"We need to pace ourselves, we won't make it there at lunch time by going about it like this."
Grabbing his hand and taking up, Altair nodded and they took back off up the path again.
The path they where now jogging on continued to get steeper as they went up but they persevered.
2 hours later they could start to see they where half way to the top. After taking a small break they where back to continuing their journey up.
…
Standing at the top of the mountain Aira was watching them make their way up.
'Maybe i should've given them some tip before just letting them have at it… Oh well i'll just have them reflect on their run. I wonder how they'll get up here hehe'
She thought while looking down at the very steep incline below her. It couldn't be ran up but had to be climbed, of course there's more than one path to the top but what fun would their training but if there wasn't something complicated to throw them off.
…
An hour and a half later.
Atlas and Altair looked around them to make sure they have strayed from the path then back up at the wall like incline before them.
"Think mommy sent us on the wrong path Atty?"
"I don't think that's the case…"
Looking up and squinting his eyes Atlas faintly picked up on a person waving at them from above.
"That's momma up ther Tair… Think we have to climb…"
"Ek! But mommy said we just have to run!"
"Think this is part of our training.. We should probably get started, it's already past lunch."
