"You bastard! Don't you dare touch her!" Obito roared furiously from the other side.

"Uchiha Tetsuhi, a Jonin of the Uchiha clan from Konoha."
The black-clad figure was visibly startled.
His eyes first showed bewilderment, then shock.
"I'm right, aren't I?" Rin said coldly.
The other black-clad figures, unaware of what had just transpired, turned their heads toward them.
Exposed, Tetsuhi's gaze flickered with uncertainty.
In a split second, he decided to knock Rin unconscious again with a hand chop.
But as his hand blade touched the back of Rin's neck, a dark red chakra suddenly surged from her body, glowing vividly in the dark night.
Tetsuhi froze, his eyes widening.
Watching Rin, now cloaked entirely in dark red chakra, he felt a chilling sensation run down his spine.
His instincts, honed as an elite Uchiha ninja, screamed of danger.
Bang!
The ropes binding Rin snapped instantly.
With a simple motion, she threw a punch, sending Tetsuka flying several meters away.
"Captain!"
The remaining three black-clad figures cried out in shock.
Tetsuhi was helped up by his companions, blood at the corner of his mouth.
His gaze toward Rin was filled with disbelief. "A Jinchuriki... She's a Jinchuriki!"
"Jinchuriki?!"
"How is that possible?!"
The others were equally shocked.

The masked black-clad figures were visibly unsettled after their identities were exposed.
They were now facing the possibility of being accused of harming a comrade upon returning.
Their target turned out to be a Jinchuriki—how could there have been such a huge intelligence error?!
Tetsuhi gritted his teeth. "Proceed as planned!"
They couldn't just leave now; returning to Konoha would only land them in prison.
Harming a comrade—especially a Jinchuriki—was a crime even the clan leader couldn't protect them from.
The only way out was to kill Nohara Rin and then subdue Obito to take him back.
At that moment, something suddenly flew through the night sky and landed heavily on the ground nearby.
Everyone looked toward it and saw that it was a person.
Upon recognizing who it was, their expressions changed drastically—it was Uchiha Inoka, who had been tasked with luring away Mitarashi Anko!
"Looks like you two are safe. That's a relief," a familiar voice echoed from the forest as Anko appeared not far away.

"What are you whispering about?" she asked mockingly.
Tetsuhi was shocked and shouted urgently, "Scatter!"

Invisible currents swirled around Anko, leaving the four Jonin-level shinobi completely paralyzed.
Dark eye shadow appeared around Anko's eyes as she stared at them coldly.
"The conversation isn't over. Where do you think you're going?"
Under this overwhelming pressure, Tetsuhi felt suffocated, utterly shaken and speechless.
This was the power of an elite guard of the Hokage...
Even as a fellow Jonin, they were simply not on the same level!
Rin approached, dispersing the tailed beast chakra from her body.
"Anko, what should we do with these guys?"
Tetsuhi and his companions were all bound tightly.
Anko ripped off the masks of the others, revealing that they were all Uchiha clan members.
Obito looked at the familiar faces of his clanmates in silence, his emotions complex and turbulent.
This mission had been given to him by none other than Tetsuhi himself.

Anko attempted to interrogate them, but no matter how she questioned, they stubbornly refused to speak.

The squad took custody of the captured Uchiha clan members, while Obito and the other two were informed that Lord Hokage had forbidden them from returning to the village.
Instead, they were redirected to Adofuku Street, not far from Konoha.
Obito was filled with heavy thoughts, unable to understand what had truly happened, but he followed Lord Hokage's orders.
Anko, however, was irritated and complained loudly, wondering what nonsense Makoto was up to.
"We didn't even do anything wrong—why can't we return to the village?"
Upon learning of the situation, Makoto quickly connected it to the previous incident when Obito and Kakashi had exchanged eyes.
He immediately understood Uchiha Fugaku's scheme—he wanted Obito to awaken the Mangekyo Sharingan.
Using such a method didn't anger Makoto much; in fact, he could even empathize with Fugaku's reasoning.
Sacrificing one life in exchange for overwhelming power was a cold but practical decision.
If Makoto had been in Fugaku's position, he might have made the same choice.
But unfortunately, Rin was special—Makoto didn't want her to die.
