Staring into the cave ahead, Ethan began calculating. The presence of Elite Monsters meant this was either a Hidden Map or a Special Map—extremely dangerous, but also incredibly rewarding. That much, he knew from experience.
But the monsters inside were clearly overleveled—even he couldn't see their stats. They had to be at least Level 44 or higher. Those bats were insanely fast and hit hard. In just a few seconds, they had him scrambling for his life. If he hadn't escaped, he might've been forced into a revival.
"Forget it, I'll level up a couple more times before coming back. If I can't even see the stats on the first wave of monsters, what'll it be like deeper in?"
In the end, Ethan decided to leave it for now. He couldn't handle it yet anyway. With teleportation, he could return anytime, and no one else was likely to stumble upon this place.
He recorded the coordinates, then began walking down the mountain to see if the monkeys below had respawned.
