Her boots echoed softly across the polished marble floor as she turned and made her way to the massive double doors. She had no intention of staying a second longer in the office, not with the headmaster who summoned her nor the strangers who stared at her like she was their missing saviour.
And also, their robe was far too familiar. She knew they were priests, but what were they doing here?
'Is it related to the prophecy? Is it related to what happened in the past? There's no way they could have found out what happened, right?'
"I'll take my leave," she said flatly, not even turning around.
A calm voice followed her steps.
