Chapter 53 - Chapter 53 - The Thunderstorm

Crackle, Boom!

In the late afternoon of a spring day while pouring over some books with John. The sound of the sudden downpour and thunder surprised them both. Quickly packing his stuff away, Felix rushed out of the library. To his surprise, Dumbledore was quickly approaching.

"Let's go." The headmaster said.

Then under the watchful gazes of some students both disappeared with a slight pop.

When the two reappeared they were outside the castle where they tucked away the vial for the animagus transformation. So quickly grabbing out the potion that was bright blood red, Felix took a deep breath and downed it. Quickly pulling out his wand and pointing it to himself, Felix said the phrase one more time.

"Amato Animo Animato Animagus."

Then as the rain began to recede and lightning vanished, Felix went through his first animagus transformation. His body began to grow smaller as blue, black and yellow fur appeared over his body. Two large mouse-shaped ears formed on his head as a thin tail with a star appeared behind him.

When the transformation ended, Felix stood around one foot eight inches, his entire backend covered in black fur with a yellow shaped star on the end of his tail. His upper portion was a light blue with a patch of black fur around his neck. While small fang -like teeth were in his mouth as he let out a small roar as his ears twitched. Ears that had yellow plus shaped patches in them.

"Not really a species of animal I know of." Dumbledore hummed as he looked down at the small animal.

Then to Dumbledore's surprise he watched as a small electric shock emitted from Felix. He quickly stepped away as Felix jumped around clumsy and electric charges emitted to him.

"Well, the first magical animagus huh, or one I heard of at least." Dumbledore said as he looked up at the quickly clearing sky.

The storm turned out to be a flash storm, but it was enough to achieve the transformation.

--

Seeing himself in the mirror, Felix figured out what his animagus form is. It was a pokemon, Shinx, but he hopes it could grow into at least a Luxio. He wouldn't mind if he grew into a Luxray either.

"Now I assume this concludes our deal." Dumbledore said.

"Thanks for helping."

"Yeah, now I will trust you not to abuse it. Most who learn it tend to do so for more…criminal reasons." Dumbledore said.

"Thanks, just what I want to hear." Felix grumbled.

"So how is business? Your communication watches are selling well from what I hear." Dumbleodre leaned back into his office chair.

"I assume pretty well." Felix shrugged.

Truthfully, besides the small and easy trinkets he makes and sells at school. He usually just expands the automation lines and usually leaves sales and shipping to Fleamont. For a man who wanted to retire, Angel pulled him back into the workforce. Now he basically just watches over the channel and keeps Felix up to date of sales and other information he needs to know.

"Well, your books have been selling decently from what I heard." Dumbledore smiled. "I also believe next year some of the professors plan to swap them into the booklist."

"That's neat." Felix shrugged.

"Besides Defense Against the Dark Arts, most of the other courses haven't really swapped books in quite the number of years." Dumbledore said. "I'm not saying they are using old books, they get updated once in a while as new magic is added."

"Ok, but why tell me this?"

"Well, since your books tend to contain magic circles and other branches of magic to achieve the spell effect. I am asking and sponsoring if you can write a book or two about the basics of them such as blessing, magic circles and the like." Dumbledore asked. "They don't need to be long, but enough one can learn from."

Felix just stared at the Headmaster with bored eyes. He really began to wonder why everyone wanted him to write so many books on magic. While he dreamed of filling a bookcase with a magic book he wrote. However, he didn't want to achieve or plan to achieve it while enrolled at Hogwarts.

"Alright, is there a certain time frame you want them done?" Felix asked.

"That is up to you, but hopefully before the next school year."

Tossing the idea around in his head, Felix decided to agree mainly due to Dumbledore covering for him quite a bit. Be it in school or outside, Dumbledore did do quite a bit in the background for him. So writing another book, even if he didn't want to, will be a way to return the favor.

"I will try my best." Felix said as he stood up.

"Thank you." Dumbledore smiled.

Felix soon left Dumbledore's office and went to join his friends.
