"Good morning everyone." Iker smiled as he walked into the dining hall. This morning's breakfast was filled with many unfamiliar faces of foreign dignitaries, notable dukes, duchesses and delegates.
Frankly, there were many faces at the table, too many faces that Iker did not think he knew even half of them, or even quarter. Regardless, he was as polite as ever being the second prince.
"Good morning Prince Iker." Iker heard everyone reply to him.
Iker sat down at his seat. He lifted his gaze and saw his mother seated right in front of him. He had not spoke with his mother in a while since their little altercation. He was still upset with her.
However, he still had to save face in front of everyone, considering today was the day of his brother's wedding.
"Good morning mother." He said swiftly.
"Good morning Iker." Taryn smiled at him sweetly. Iker almost felt like rolling his eyes. His mother had the capability to pretend as if everything was nice and perfect when it was not.
