Angelica used her family emblem to seal the letter she had just finished writing. She placed the letter in an envelope and closed it tightly.
She walked out of her father's office and found the first maid present.
"Please give this to the carriage driver, tell him that it is very urgent, it must reach the crown prince at once." The maid was quick to sense the sound of importance in Angelica's tone, she nodded and rushed off as soon as Angelica handed her the letter.
Angelica walked down the stairs expecting to see her father still staring out the window, surprisingly, he and her mother were nowhere to be found. She then heard the sound of laughs coming from the common room.
She walked in there only to be stunned to see her father sitting in his armchair laughing while her mother fed him some pieces of orange while they sat close to the fireplace.
"Oh, Angelica, my love, would you like to join us?" Ohara asked smiling as she turned to Angelica.
