Lillian pinched the handle of her mug, stroking it with the back of her fingers before wrapping them around it. She raised the rim to her lips and drank. Once she had done that, she set it aside and asked the blonde-haired woman:
"If I recall correctly, it has been... 8 years or so?" Her voice filled with uncertainty as her eyes scanned the woman for confirmation.
Beatrice nodded, her lips curling up at Lillian's question. "Yes... I'm glad you were able to remember that much, at least." She then froze and waited.
Lillian stared at the Student President's lips, waiting for a certain "Phrase"... Fortunately for the woman, it didn't arrive.
Beatrice sighed in subtle relief and added, "What have you been up to in those past years? Last I remember, you could hardly take care of yourself outside of appearances."
