Barry, Caitlin, Cisco, Iris, and Eddie are all hanging out at a bar.
While Iris and Eddie are off doing their own thing, Barry is with Caitlin and Cisco, chugging shots after shots without a single twitch on his face.
"See, nothing. My high metabolism has ruined my youth. I can't get drunk, no matter how much I drink," Barry says.
"Looks like we finally sound a disadvantage of having super powers," Cisco says.
"Well, since you can't have any, let me have it for you," Caitlin says, chugging a shot, trying to tease him.
Barry chuckles and takes another shot. Now that he can't get high anymore, he can only drink for taste.
As Barry spends the night having fun with his friends, he suddenly remembers something.
This scene that is happening, he remembers watching it on TV. The Flash complained to his friends about his inability to get drunk. Iris and Eddie are here as well.
'Wait, isn't this the scene when that explosion happens?' Barry questions as he looks around. It's 9 PM, and there is no call from the station; nothing is happening.
'Maybe it's later at night,' Barry thinks, and waits for something to happen.
While he keeps his friends entertained, he has his attention somewhere else. He is waiting for that call so that he can take action.
But time starts to fly by, his friends get drunker, but that call never comes.
'Did I get it wrong? Was it not this scene?' Barry questions as he sees the clock hit 11 PM.
"Barry," He hears Iris call for him. He turns around and sees her in Eddie's arms.
"It's getting late, I am leaving," Iris says.
"Me too. Can't be late for work tomorrow," Eddie says.
"I should head back as well. I will leave with Caitlin and Cisco. You two should leave first," Barry says.
"Okay, see you tomorrow, Barry," Iris says, bidding farewell. Eddie waves with a smile and leaves with her.
Barry then brings his attention to his other two friends, who seem to be having a great time.
'Looks like I was wrong,' Barry thinks and smiles. He no longer has to deal with a walking human bomb. 'Maybe I will come across her someday in the future,' He thinks, and approaches them.
"Guy's it's 11 pm. Do you want to spend the entire night here?" Barry asks as he sees Caitlin and Cisco play darts for drinks, and Caitlin is handing Cisco his ass at the game.
Poor guy has been forced to take shot after shot, and with every shot, his game is getting weaker.
"Alright, that's it. Game over, Caitlin wins," Barry says and stops their game.
"Wooooooooooooo," Caitlin woos with joy for being declared the winner, while Cisco wobbles trying to keep his balance.
"Whoa, you seem completely out of it, buddy. Let's get you back home," Barry says and sits Cisco down as he goes to pay the remaining tab.
But it looks like Eddie seems to have already covered up everything. Barry quickly returns to Cisco and Caitlin's side, and they walk out of the bar.
Barry hails a cab and puts Cisco in it. He can't run him home because his equilibrium is all messed up from all the drinking. Barry gives the driver Cisco's address, pays him up front, and sends them away.
"How are you feeling?" Barry asks, turning to Caitlin.
"I'm a little drunk, but I can manage," Caitlin says, tipsy. Though she is a little drunk, Barry doesn't think he should let her go back home alone.
"Let me drop you off," Barry says.
"Well, aren't you going to be late if you come with me?" Caitlin questions, drunk.
"Did you forget who I am?" Barry questions with a smile, looking like she forgot who he is in her drunken state.
"Oops, hehehe, I completely forgot," Caitlin laughs and slaps Barry's arm.
Barry just smiles, seeing her antics, when suddenly Caitlin wraps her hands around his neck.
"What are you doing?" he questions, confused.
"Aren't you going to swoosh me back home?" Caitlin asks, staring at him like an innocent girl.
"Okay fine," Barry says. Since she is not totally fucked up like Cisco was, she should be able to handle moving at super speed for a few seconds.
Barry puts his one hand on her back and the other behind her legs, and lifts her up in his arms effortlessly.
"Wooo, you are so strong~" she says, grabbing Barry's arm and feeling up his biceps.
Barry shakes his head, smiling, and enters Flash Point. Everything around him slows down, and before anyone can notice, he disappears from his spot.
And within a few seconds, he stops right before Caitlin's apartment.
Barry puts Caitlin down on her legs as she stumbles a little. Barry grabs her by her shoulders to prevent her from falling, but she regains her footing.
"We are here already?" Caitlin asks, surprised. The jolt from the sudden stop must have snapped her out of her drunken state a little.
"Yes, this is your house, right?" Barry asks, as this is the first time he has come to Caitlin's house.
"Yes, it is, and that was fast.... Psst, who am I talking to? You are the FlAsH," she says teasingly, making Barry smile again.
"By the way, do you wanna come in?" Caitlin suddenly asks, surprising Barry. He doesn't understand this woman; sometimes she pushes him away, and sometimes she pulls him in.
He doesn't know what to do.
"Come on, I am thinking about making something to eat. We have been drinking all night. I need something to soak up all that alcohol," Caitlin says, opening the door and pulling Barry in.
Though she is still drunk, she also seems to be aware of what she is doing.
'Well, whatever happens, happens,' Barry thinks and enters Caitlin's apartment.
