"He goes by Deadshot!" A deep, raspy, brooding-sounding voice suddenly grabs everyone's attention.
Everyone immediately turns around to see who this voice belongs to.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA~" Caitlin suddenly yells out, frightened, and almost falls as she rolls her ankle, but Barry immediately grabs onto her arm and stops her fall.
Cisco is speechless, his eyes wide and his mouth gaping open, his jaw has never dropped this low in his entire life, not even after being witness to superhuman activities all over the city.
"HOLY SHIT ITS BATMAN!!!!!!!!!!" Cisco shouts, pointing his finger at the man clad from head to toe in black.
"Barry, tell me I am hallucinating?" Cisco asks, as he can't take his eyes off Batman.
"No, you are not hallucinating, Cisco," Barry says with a sigh. He didn't expect Batman to give him a visit so soon.
"Holy shit, Batman's real, I can't believe it," Cisco begins murmuring to himself while he gets lost in his own thoughts.
Just like Cisco, Caitlin is also shocked, but she is not as expressive as Cisco when it comes to displaying his feelings.
As for Dr. Wells, he keeps his calm even in front of Batman because this is not the first time he has seen Batman. They are, after all, destined to be enemies as they are related to Barry.
One is Barry's sworn enemy, and the other is a very close friend whom Barry can trust with his life.
Just like how Team Flash is taking their time coming to terms with the existence of Batman and observing him, Batman, too, has his eyes on Team Flash.
His sharp eyes quickly calculate the three people before him, other than Barry, and he quickly comes up with a surface-level reading of the three.
Having already done the research on Dr. Wells, Cisco, and Caitlin before coming here, his assessment of Cisco and Caitlin stands. They pose a very low threat, but should not be underestimated as they are bright minds in their fields.
But when it comes to Dr. Wells, the alarm inside Batman's head goes off. Before coming here, he had already found Dr. Wells' identity a little questionable, but to come to a complete conclusion, he needs much more than just some circumstantial evidence.
Batman trusts his instincts more than anything, and what his instincts are telling him right now is to be wary of the man in the wheelchair.
The reason Batman came to this conclusion is because of how calm Dr. Wells is before him.
A normal human would at least be startled by his sudden appearance, but Dr. Well didn't even twitch a muscle on his face when he saw Batman.
This was the mistake; Dr. Wells forgot he was in front of a man who is always paranoid and extremely aware of his surroundings.
"Tell us about this Deadshot," Dr. Wells asks, but he probably already had an idea about who was trying to kill Barry. Who could have a better understanding of the current situation than the man from the future?
"Deadshot is an extremely dangerous mercenary, usually hired for assassination. And now he is after the Flash," Batman says.
Everyone in the room immediately tenses up as the identity of Barry's assassin is revealed.
"But who would want me dead?" Barry asks. From what he can think of, he has still not crossed anyone who would want him dead, as for the criminals he has captured are all behind bars, so it can not be them.
"It's related to you being in Gotham... saving me..." Batman says.
Team Flash is caught off guard by hearing this. They never knew that Barry went to Gotham.
"You went to Gotham? When?" Caitlin asks.
"I was taking a run and decided to visit the infamous city. You know, I wanted to see if it really looks like what people described it to be," Barry says, a white lie. Though he did go for a run, he ended up there by accident as he was running too fast.
"How come I didn't get updated on your coordinates?" Cisco asks.
"Well, I didn't have my suit on," Barry says.
"That's very irresponsible of you, Barry. What if someone had seen you use your powers without your suit on?" Caitlin says, trying to be strict on him again.
"Come on, I am too fast for anyone's eyes. No one saw me," Barry says.
"Someone did," Cisco says, pointing at Batman, as everyone in this room right now knows the true identity of the Flash.
"No, he didn't... He already knew who I was..." Barry says while smiling awkwardly. This statement surprised Cisco and Caitlin, not so much Dr. Wells, as he already knows just how good Batman is when it comes to being a detective.
"How is that even possible?" Cisco asks.
"Guys, this is not important right now. What's important is finding out why this Deadshot guy is after me," Barry says, trying to change the subject.
Cisco and Caitlin shut up and look back at Batman, waiting for him to continue.
"Like I was saying, Barry was in Gotham, and he saved me when I was in trouble. This made some people angry, so they hired Deadshot to kill you," Batman says.
"So the Joker hired Deadshot to kill me?" Barry asks.
"No, it's not the Joker. It's the Court of Owls," Batman says with a serious tone.
