When the new week began, Lariette became busier because of the closely approaching Sports Day. The event would be held this Friday. She just had to tough it up until her break for the harvest festival the other week.
"Hey! Who took the zip ties? I need them!"
"Ugh, my hands are so sweaty! This rope keeps slipping!"
"Ms. Elsher said Booth 7 is there, not here!"
As the final preparations began, tents were set up on the field before the students worked together to place the tables and chairs. At the same time, some practiced harder to achieve victories. Their fiery competitive spirit was at all time high.
That Thursday, Lariette stayed late at school until the sun dipped below the horizon, all hungry and exhausted. Fortunately, Ruediger came to assist her as promised. He would be present for Sports Day tomorrow as well.
