Ryan (No. 4), Jacob (No. 7), and Oliver (No. 10) were shocked and furious. If Kai was the primary target of the Meteor Chase Team, then Sarah and Mia, his companions, were the next ones marked for elimination.

He gritted his teeth against the searing pain but didn't dare to pause, immediately retreating to increase the distance.

A flurry of needles whizzed through the air.
Jacob, who was further away, saw Oliver being attacked and, filled with both fear and rage, hurled several needle-like projectiles at the white figure before it could land.
The attacker was none other than Gatomon.
Despite being airborne, Gatomon's flexible body moved with remarkable agility. Spotting the incoming needles, it twisted and flipped midair, swiping its claws to tear the projectiles apart before they could reach.
"Die!!!"
At that moment, Ryan closed the gap. With a roar, she lunged at Gatomon, throwing a powerful punch filled with murderous intent.
Though Ryan was a woman, she was an Enhancer-type Nen user, and her raw strength rivaled that of Ethan (No. 5), another Enhancer on their team.
This direct punch wasn't just powerful—it was backed by 'Flow,' concentrating 70% of the surrounding cold energy into her fist.

Gatomon, having just landed, didn't hesitate. Seeing Ryan charging in, it reacted instantly, swinging its claws to meet the attack head-on.
Fist and claw collided with an explosive impact, sending a shockwave that ripped through the ground, leaving a crater over ten meters wide.
Gatomon staggered slightly but remained firm, its footing steady. In contrast, Ryan was forced several steps back, the flesh on her right fist torn open by Gatomon's sharp claws.
Veins throbbed on Ryan's forehead from the pain, but what shocked her even more was Gatomon's sheer strength.
"What kind of beast is this? How can it be this strong?!"
Ryan instinctively assumed Gatomon was a magical beast. While such creatures were generally more powerful than humans, for elite Nen users like her, most were nothing more than prey.
But now, she had been pushed back and even injured. Naturally, this left her both furious and stunned.

It was Oliver.
Despite his injury, Oliver wasted no time. As soon as he regained his balance, he focused his Nen into his hands, generating a glowing white blade before launching it toward Gatomon.

Sensing the incoming attack, Gatomon's petite frame exploded with power. In a blur, it dodged to the side just as the energy blade passed through its previous position.

The ground where Gatomon had stood split apart, leaving a deep, jagged gash. A large rock in its path was effortlessly cleaved in half.
"Master said to take down this woman first!"
Without stopping, Gatomon locked onto Oliver, its body moving in a flash as it charged toward him with lightning speed.
Not far away, Jacob, who had thrown the needles earlier, saw what was happening. He couldn't just stand by and watch.
He immediately prepared to intervene.

Suddenly, as Jacob took a step forward, his foot landed on thin air, causing him to stumble. His body tilted forward, and one of his legs sank downward.
"What?!"
Startled, Jacob reacted quickly. Using his other foot, he pushed off the ground and jumped up, twisting in midair to look at where he had just stepped.
What he saw made his blood run cold.
A dark, circular hole had appeared on the ground where he had stepped. From within the hole, a pair of eerie hands reached out, as if attempting to pull him in.
"A space-type Nen ability?!"
Jacob's pupils shrank as realization hit him.
This was the work of the one person they feared most.
