Every region in this world has an inheritance site of its own. It was a unanimous decision by the seniors of the world to create one, leaving behind a lifeline for the human cultivators in this realm.
These inheritance sites were created to preserve some of the human cultivators in case a day arrived when the total annihilation of humanity became inevitable.
This was done before some of the seniors ascended to the upper world, for at that time, survival itself seemed uncertain. Given the unpredictability of the future, they had to create a contingency—and thus, the inheritance sites were born.
There are certain rules for staying within the inheritance site. Since it was created by many mighty figures, each of them left behind a portion of their will, forming a vast consciousness that governs the site.
