THE CONFLICT IN MOHA
In the palace of Trasia, the people rejoiced and celebrated their victory over Saban. Kac appreciated Nate's presence among them and gave him permission to marry his daughter, Prisia. Nate was overjoyed, but Frad was not pleased. Nate promised Kac that he would take care of Prisia and protect her always.
The next morning, they returned to Moha. As they entered the main gate, the Mohaians praised Nate, chanting, "Breaker of Doors!"
Curious, Prisia asked, "Why do they call you that name?"
Nate smiled and replied, "I have never lost a battle in my entire life. That is why."
They went straight to the palace to report to Pac. Originally, this was not part of their plan, but their strategy had failed. Inside the palace, the Mohaians had gathered. Frad returned to his position, and Nate stood beside him. The king then ordered Prisia to stand in the middle, as he intended to question her.
"My king, I greet you. I am very sorry for rejecting your engagement. I was inconsiderate, but I have come before you to plead for mercy," Prisia said, seeking forgiveness.
The king looked at her sternly. "Stand with your husband," he commanded.
Prisia moved to stand beside Nate, but the king continued, "What are you doing? You will marry Frad, my son, because he loves you and wishes to take you as his wife."
Prisia was confused. "But my heart has chosen Nate, not your son," she responded.
Nate stepped forward and addressed the king, "My king, Prisia loves me, not Frad. I have also promised her father that I will protect her in Moha."
The king's expression darkened. "Then I give you two choices: marry her and lose your position as commander, or deny her and be promoted."
The king then made another announcement: "In two days, Frad will become the new king of Moha. Nate will be commander of the southern army."
Pac turned back to Nate. "Choose wisely," he said.
Without hesitation, Nate chose Prisia. The king then declared, "You are no longer the commander of the Moha warriors. You are now the commander of the southern army."
Despite the Mohaians' disapproval, Pac announced the marriage between Nate and Prisia. Though many were unhappy with the king's treatment of Nate, the decision was final.
After the court session, the king departed, escorted by his guards. Later, Jos and Nar visited Nate to discuss their plans. "How is everything going?" they asked.
Nate assured them, "Do not worry. Everything is under control."
He then retired to his chamber, with Prisia following him.
THE MARRIAGE CEREMONY
The next morning, the wedding between Nate and Prisia was about to begin. Nobles from all over were present. Dave arrived from Trasia with his people to congratulate them. He presented Nate with a Derave—a tiger skin used to make fine clothing—and said, "Thank you for making me a man. I have become stronger and ready to fight our enemies."
Nate embraced him, and soon after, the king arrived to begin the ceremony. Pac congratulated them and gifted them two hundred thousand gold coins. The priest blessed them, and they were officially united as husband and wife.
The celebration began, and Pac retired to his chamber with his guards.
The CORONATION OF FRAD
THE day that Frad had been waiting for finally arrived. His brother, Dahmer, had always been eager to take the throne from him.
During the coronation, the Mohaians gathered in the city center. The great army of Moha stood in formation as the king entered. Nate and Nar followed, saluting him. Some warriors used magic to welcome him.
Pac placed the crown on Frad's head and declared him the new king of Moha. The Mohaians cheered and praised him.
At the same time, Pac placed another crown in Nate's hands and proclaimed, "Nate, you are now the commander of the southern army!" The Mohaians roared with excitement, chanting, "Breaker… Breaker… Breaker!"
The ground trembled from the warriors' cheers. Frad, however, was furious at the overwhelming praise Nate received.
Later, in his chamber, Frad stared at the crown in his hands and whispered, "Crown, I have dreamed of you for so long. Now, you are finally mine… Welcome, my crown."
Though he was happy to have the throne, anger simmered beneath his joy—Prisia, the woman he loved, had been taken by another man.
THE INCIDENT AT THE TEMPLE
The priest rang the bell for Gathoc—a sacred prayer for women in Moha. As tradition demanded, Prisia went straight to the temple, where noble women passed through in reverence.
Frad's bodyguard, stationed at the entrance, directed her to use the main door. As she moved back to join the queue, she noticed how the guard was inappropriately touching the women as they passed.
When it was Prisia's turn, he attempted to grope her. Without hesitation, she drew her blade and sliced off his right hand.
The guard screamed in agony. "Haaah… Ouch!" His cries echoed through the temple. Immediately, Prisia was seized and taken to the royal court.
The Mohaians gathered in the courtroom. The courtiers and the king were present as well. The king began questioning her when suddenly, Nate entered.
His eyes darkened as he saw chains on Prisia's hands.
Pac continued his questioning, but Nate slowly moved around the courtroom. His piercing gaze unsettled the guards.
"Why are you pacing instead of standing in your position?" the king asked.
Nate turned to him and replied coldly, "Whatever my wife has done, you had no right to put chains on her hands."
Turning to Prisia, he asked, "What happened?"
She explained everything, and rage flared in Nate's eyes. Without a second thought, he drew his sword and severed the guard's head.
Prisia was relieved, but the entire court was stunned.
Frad clenched his fists in fury. "Dismiss everyone!" he commanded.
Before leaving, he made a chilling announcement: "Tomorrow, I will decide the punishment you shall receive, according to the law of the land…"
