In the living room, Ji Hanwen and Lin Jue were chatting when they heard noises and looked over one by one. Ji Sang was in a disheveled state that Ji Hanwen had hardly ever seen; if not for the happy expression on her face, he would have thought something had happened.
Seeing the surprise on the faces of Ji Hanwen and Lin Jue, Ji Sang realized she had behaved somewhat improperly.
Usually, when she waited at home for Fu Yisi to return from work, she would rush to the door to greet him upon hearing any noise. She had long been accustomed to being the first person Fu Yisi saw when he came home.
Today, however, she had forgotten there were guests at home.
Ji Sang smiled apologetically and then headed straight for the door. Only then did Ji Hanwen react,
"Is Xiao Fu back?"
He also stood up and looked outside, indeed, there was a car stopped in front of the yard.
Just as Ji Sang opened the door, Fu Yisi had just arrived at the entrance.
