The cake was cut.
Ivy River mischievously smiled, secretly pinched a piece of cream, and suddenly smeared it on Jonah Wiles's face.
She laughed with squinted eyes, "A birthday without cream is incomplete, happy birthday to our star of the day!"
Emmy happily ate the cake, her mouth full of cake, mumbling unclearly, "Grandpa, happy birthday, what did you wish for?!"
"Oh no..." Ivy River clinked.
She exchanged glances with Gale Wiles, "Seems like the wish wasn't made?"
Gale Wiles nodded, "Seems like it really wasn't, Dad, did you make your wish?"
"Don't bother with those foreign gimmicks, I'm happy today, everyone eat and drink well! If anything is lacking, just ask, plenty to go around!"
Jonah Wiles didn't care about these things at all, he didn't even want to celebrate his birthday party in the first place.
Making such a big scene was just for a birthday.
To him, it was not worth it.
