This fanfic is one of my favorite Honkai fanfics. I really like the dynamic between Ren and Kiana, especially in the early volumes. it's not perfect or some kind of masterpiece. There are plenty of plot holes that leave me wondering, but it was my gateway into Honkai fanfics, so it's pretty memorable to me.
Quality-wise, yeah, it definitely starts to decline. it's an older fanfic from early 2022.
Not exactly ancient, but a lot of terms and lore have changed since then. You can feel how the plot starts rushing just to catch up with the new canon. On top of that, the author didn't have much time to work on it because of college and Easter, so the chapters started getting shorter midway through. Still, they didn't abandon the fic.
The latest chapter dropped this month, so it's technically still ongoing.
Honestly, if this fanfic ever got a proper rewrite, it could be way better. But yeah, you know how it goes.
